Volunteer events every Friday morning, 8:30 AM

Looking to gain volunteer experience, earn community service hours, or participate in environmental stewardship? Leopold's Preserve is proud to offer our Friday Conservation Corps in partnership with the Bull Run Mountains Conservancy. Each Friday at 8:30 AM, we offer outdoor volunteer activities including trail maintenance, brush clearing, habitat restoration, and more. You are welcome to stay for just an hour or keep working until lunchtime! Conservation activities are suitable for ages 13 and up, but volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

To participate, please register for a specific date and time using our calendar. If we need to cancel an event due to poor weather or another emergency, we will only contact volunteers who are pre-registered.

Fridays don't work for your schedule? No problem! We also offer volunteer workdays on the third Saturday of each month, except in December and January. Join us at 8:30 AM for the morning shift, or at 1 PM for the afternoon shift. As above, please register using our calendar!
