About the Event
Since 1970, April 22nd has marked “Earth Day”, an event to show support for environmental protection around the globe. Join us at the Mountain House on April 22 to celebrate Earth Day 2024!
We will be screening "Water's Way: Thinking Like a Watershed", a celebrated documentary that will take us on a journey through the rivers and tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. The film will showcase the watershed as it was when a mosaic of beaver ponds and dams blanketed the region and explore how we might once again experience a watershed resilient to flood and drought.
