About the Event
The Bull Run Mountains Conservancy invites you and your child to spend an adventurous outing interacting with and learning about nature! Programs feature new curriculum each month, outlined below. Cost is $5 per participant (including adults). Each month features two offerings - one desgined for older kids and one that is open to all ages.
April - Spring Birds & Blooms: Join us to enjoy the start of spring by taking in the early ephemeral wildflower display and the beginning of the bird nesting season with a focus on bluebird boxes.
May - Ferns & Allies: Join us to investigate their life histories and how they play a role in all of our daily lives, but you may not know it.
June - Freshwater Ecology: Join us for a stream exploration and learn about all the fascinating critters that inhabit our freshwater systems.
