About the Event

The Bull Run Mountains Conservancy invites you and your child to spend an adventurous outing interacting with and learning about nature! Programs feature new curriculum each month, outlined below. Cost is $5 per participant (including adults). We offer two programs per month - one designed for older kids and one that is open to all ages.

April - Migratory Birds & Spring Epehemeral Wildflowers: Join us to take in the spring wildflower display and to get prepared for the spring bird migration.

May - Treat It or Eat It! Join us for a plant exploration! Ever wonder which flowers are not only edible but taste good, which tree provides a toothbrush, or which plant is a grocery store, hardware store, and pharmacy.

June - Freshwater Ecology: Join us for a stream exploration and learn about all the fascinating critters that inhabit our freshwater systems.
