About the Event

Guided walks led by a professional naturalist are hosted at Leopold's Preserve one weekend per month, year-round. These walks are free and open to all. The walks are slow paced and typically cover two miles or less. Each month's walk focuses on a different seasonal topic related to the natural world.

Wednesday, March 5, 6 PM: Amphibians of Spring. Join us to enjoy the harbingers of spring in full force. Please bring a flashlight as the trails will be dark!

NOTE: this program will take place in two locations. First, meet in the main parking lot. We will stroll along the wetland trail to enjoy the near-deafening chorus of Spring Peeper frogs. Afterwards, we'll caravan over to a second location and discover a vernal pool by night. The address of the second location is approximately 15705 Rachel Place, Haymarket, VA. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not block their driveways when parking at the second location.

Presented through a partnership of the Bull Run Mountains Conservancy and the White House Farm Foundation.
