About the Event
Guided walks led by a professional naturalist are hosted at Leopold's Preserve one weekend per month, year-round. These walks are free and open to all. The walks are slow paced and typically cover two miles or less. Each month's walk focuses on a different seasonal topic related to the natural world.
Saturday, February 15, 10 AM: Dendrology. Join us to learn about trees as we identify them by their bark, buds, and twig traits. We will, also, take a tree core to age a forest stand.
