About the Event

Guided walks led by a professional naturalist are hosted at Leopold's Preserve one weekend per month, year-round. These walks are free and open to all. The walks are slow paced and typically cover two miles or less. Each month's walk focuses on a different seasonal topic related to the natural world.

Sunday, July 13th, 10 AM: Things That Fly! Join us for a walk focused on things that fly including the colorful birds, "flutter-byes", dragonflies and damselflies.

Wednesday, August 6th, 7 PM: Bats & Bugs. Join us to observe bats flying to catch their dinner while learning more about them and their food.

Sunday, September 21st, 10 AM: Fall Birds & Blooms. Join us to enjoy and learn about the fall bird migration and early fall blooms!

Sunday, October 26th, 10 AM: Fall Ecology. Join us to marvel at the fall colors as we focus on the life cycles of trees!
