About the Event
Guided walks led by a professional naturalist are hosted at Leopold's Preserve one weekend per month, year-round. These walks are free and open to all. The walks are slow paced and typically cover two miles or less. Each month's walk focuses on a different seasonal topic related to the natural world.
Sunday May 11, 10 AM: Treat It or Eat It! Join us for a plant exploration. Learn which flowers are not only edible but taste good, which tree provides a toothbrush, and which plant is a grocery store, hardware store, and pharmacy all in one.
Presented through a partnership of the Bull Run Mountains Conservancy and the White House Farm Foundation.
