About the Event

Learn about local native snake species and how to accurately and safely identify them. "Not every snake with a pattern is a Copperhead!"

Bill Crisp of K2C Wildlife Encounters, LLC will teach us about the most common species of snakes found in the NOVA area, how to accurately identify them, and the important role that snakes play in our environment. Participants will also be able to see these amazing animals up close on display and even handle a few of K2C's snake ambassadors!

Bill's talk will take place on the wetland observation deck, accessible from Parking Lot West. You are welcome to bring a folding chair to sit on while you listen.
