Winter Survival

Join us on Saturday, December 14th at 10 a.m. for our  monthly Leopold's Preserve naturalist walk focused on Winter Survival. Come out and learn how mammals prepare for winter. 

Also, we will be introducing a "Weekend Warrior" volunteer program to assist management and preservation of Leopold's Preserve. This volunteer opportunity is open for all ages and skill levels. You will be able to volunteer at your convenience as far as day and time throughout the year. Activities will include keeping the parking areas and preserve clean and identifying other management issues including where larger trees need to be cleared from the trails and other issues that we will discuss.
